About a month before I came down or was attacked by ADEM, I read Kevin Sorbo's autobiography: "True Strength: My Journey from Hercules to Mere Mortal--and How Nearly Dying Saved My Life." Since my attack, I've read it 3 more times.
Kevin Sorbo played Hercules and in the midst of it fell ill to a very rare condition - hundreds of blood clots filled his shoulder, then 3 ran up to his head and gave him 3 strokes. All of this in the midst of playing the son of a God.
I found many things in his book to be helpful. I just thought I'd share it with the group.
