Quick question - I'm about a year and a half out of hospital and have been having short, very intense dizzy spells every few days. They only last about 10 seconds but it feels like the whole world shifts upside down, which is not particularly pleasant - just wanted to see if anyone else has had this or if I should go for (yet another) check up.

Go for a check up. My husband has noticeable dizzy spells if he has been laying down a long time, and the world looks weird to him all the time, he says things don't always looks right or normal. But I don't think you should hesitate to see the doctor when you are not sure about something.
I have been very dizzy myself. I was just on a cruise and the doctor gave me some Cinnarizine 25 mg. and it works great for 5 or 6 hours per tablet. The only place that you can buy it is on ebay.as it is not legal in the US yet.
On any medications that would be the cause?
