@Savitri joined us recently, after her mother experienced severe symptoms and got diagnosed with ADEM. She was discharged after requiring hospitalization and five plasma exchanges. @Savitri is looking for advice as she seems to not have received any from the hospital. She is concerned as her mother may have thyroid issues in addition to being overweight.
Would love to hear from any of you who may be of help!

Was / is she on any steroids? I know many medications cause water retention and persistent stress hormone.
